Sunnybank is a suburb where many households have stayed in the same house for years, which usually means more furniture, more stored in the garage and more decisions about what comes with you. A move here is rarely quick: it's often four or five bedrooms of furniture, whitegoods that have to come out carefully, and sometimes a whole second living area for extended family.
High-set brick homes are common through Sunnybank, and carrying a wardrobe or a queen bed down an external staircase takes a different technique from a single-level low-set home. Newer custom-built homes closer to Gowan Road often have wider internal doorways and more built-in storage, which changes the loading order but not necessarily the difficulty. Bigger houses just mean more trips and more careful staging of what goes on the truck first.
Traffic matters here because Sunnybank is so central. Mains Road and Beenleigh Road both carry heavy commercial traffic through the day, Market Square draws congestion at peak shopping times, and school pick-up near Sunnybank State High School and St Thomas More College creates a predictable bottleneck in the afternoon. We plan loading and departure times around all of it, instead of hoping for a clear run down Mains Road at 3pm. If you're moving between Sunnybank and elsewhere in the city, our Brisbane removalists use the same planning at both ends.
